Last week on SmackDown, LA Knight came forward to help John Cena deal with The Bloodline. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikao teamed up and were beating Cena inside the ropes when Knight showed up at his aid. In addition, he also signed the contract, declaring to be Cena’s partner for Fastlane against the Samoan brothers.
The two stars have shared some animosity at Payback during the Knight vs. The Miz match when Cena was the special guest referee. That said, let’s take a deep look at whether the two stars are friends in real life or not.

So far, there is no evidence of Cena and Knight’s friendship in the outside world. No photos of them online hanging out in a public place. Therefore, it seems like just like their on-screen relationship, their off-screen relationship is only limited to WWE TV.
The only interactions the two have had are, apparently, in WWE when they work together in storylines. Apart from that, there is no solid proof that they spend time as friends outside of WWE. Cena is very excited to partner with Knight and take on Uso and Sikoa from The Bloodline.
Cena was struggling to find a partner for Fastlane as whoever tried to side with him ended up facing The Bloodline’s wrath. But thankfully, Knight came to save the day and announced himself as Cena’s tag team partner on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Whether they are friends or mere colleagues is very difficult to comment on without adequate material to base our research. But one thing is sure, Cena is an LA Knight fan… YEAH!

During the Money in the Bank season, everyone was laying in their favorite picks to win the briefcase online. A majority of the people rallied behind LA Knight to win the match, but sadly, he didn’t. One of those people was John Cena, who also expressed his support for Knight.
Going to his Instagram around 10-11 days before the Money in the Bank PLE in London, he shared a photo of Knight, hinting at his favorite pick for the MITB winner. Cena knows how much star power and wrestling skills Knight possesses, therefore, he admires him for that.
