Despite Being Mercilessly Trolled by the WWE Universe, Dominik Mysterio Responds to Rhea Ripley’s Engagement Post

WWE Universe had a field day when Dominik Mysterio’s on-screen girlfriend, Rhea Ripley, took to social media to publicly announce that she said yes to Buddy Matthews. The reigning Women’s World Heavyweight Champion has been dating the AEW star since their time in WWE together. And finally, Rhea Ripley is ready to start a conjugal relationship with Buddy Matthews. This is interesting because fans are trolling Dom Dom. 

Regardless, Mysterio also reacted to Rhea Ripley’s Instagram post. Although Mysterio is not Rhea Ripley’s real-life knight in shining armor, the duo share an unbreakable bond and on-screen chemistry. 

How did Dominik Mysterio react to Rhea Ripley’s engagement?

Although Dominik Mysterio refrained from making any public statements, he displayed his support by liking Ripley’s Instagram post. Mysterio’s decision not to comment was in line with maintaining kayfabe. Nonetheless, there is a high likelihood that Mysterio extended his congratulations to both individuals personally. Given his availability during events, he had ample opportunity to offer his well-wishes to his “Mami.”

Watching them together from now on would be interesting knowing that Rhea Ripley is finally betrothed to the former WWE star, Buddy Matthews. Anyway, many other WWE stars, including Dwayne Johnson, liked Ripley’s post, showing their support for the young couple. While The Eradicator is finally engaged, fans forget that Dominik Mysterio is also engaged to his high school sweetheart, Marie Juliette Virissimo.

Ever since Dominik betrayed his father and aligned himself with Ripley, he has become one of the most loathed superstars on the roster. Furthermore, Dom’s unique chemistry with Ripley sparked the curiosity of fans about their real-life relationship. 

In all seriousness, Ripley has helped elevate Dominik Mysterio’s WWE career. With the ongoing dissension within The Judgment Day between Finn Balor and Damien Priest, Rhea, and Dom are the only two keeping the faction strong.
