WWE tells the tales of both friendship and rivalries. While the weight of the latter part is a bit heavier, some reversed pictures also exist to make fans value the brighter side of life as well. Two top names of WWE, Brock Lesnar, and Paul Heyman, were portrayed as allies and enemies, both in Raw and SmackDown. But in reality, the duo formed a solid friendship and was termed one of the most iconic wrestler-manager duos over the decades.

It’s an open secret that long before Heyman stepped into his current role as Roman Reigns’ special counsel, he was busy advocating for the Beast Incarnate for years. Lesnar wouldn’t have sold many of his grand matches smoothly without the Wise Man by his side. Heyman helped him thoroughly with some brilliant promos, making him a real deal back then. So it’s not hard to make out why their friendship has grown tenfold in later years. Even to the point of Lesnar publically saying I love you to his former manager.

Brock Lesnar flaunting his love for somebody other than his family in a public forum is unfathomable. Nevertheless, that’s what exactly the 45 years old did when it came to his best buddy, Paul Heyman.

Recently Roman Reigns’s current manager spoke about the incident during his appearance on the Tetragrammaton podcast with Rick Rubin.

And it’s certainly not easy for him to say to a man. It’s just not his nature.”

It’s indeed not the spontaneous self of the Cowboy Brock. Fans obviously agree here with Heyman. Even the star himself revealed that he does not mix well with others.

Brock Lesnar is a shy man in real life

To measure the intensity of respect, Lesnar had for Heyman, one must make reference to his otherwise shy off-screen persona. During one of his past interviews, Cody Rhodes’ current rival noted despite putting down many fantastic showdowns in front of thousands of people throughout his career, he is not comfortable opening up to people in real life at all.
