Despite Becky Lynch’s Incredible Main Event Performance, This NXT Sensation Is All Anyone Can Talk About After Monday Night RAW

The go-home edition of Raw featured a match between Becky Lynch and Zoey Stark. The duo collided in a Falls Count Anywhere match. However, despite Lynch’s outstanding performance on Raw, the buzz centered around a prominent NXT talent who made an appearance during the show. 

Interestingly, this talent had recently criticized Becky Lynch for her lack of NXT Championship victories. As successful as Becky Lynch is, she has never won the NXT Women’s Championship during her 3-year stint with the brand. So, who is the NXT star in question?

NXT star, who recently took a dig at Becky Lynch, steals her thunder on Raw

The reigning NXT Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton, was seen attending Monday Night Raw. The 24-year-old star captured the NXT Women’s Championship on May 28 by defeating Lyra Valkyria. The young star commendably won her first championship in her 26th televised match. Nonetheless, all eyes were glued to Stratton on Raw as she sat and watched Lynch battle with Stark.

Taking to Twitter, Stratton shared a gif of her from the event, spotting the NXT Women’s Title. She wrote, “It just feels right,” with a pink heart emoji, alluding to the baby pink glossy leather outfit she was wearing. Moving on, Becky Lynch went to war in the main event with Zoey Stark. Lynch has been at loggerheads with Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark for months. 

During the closing moments of the match, Stark inadvertently hit Trish Stratus, which she immediately regretted while Lynch took advantage. The Man then hit a manhandle slam on Stark, putting her through a table to get the win via pinfall.

That said, in just a few days, Becky Lynch is going to be pitted against Trish Stratus in a steel cage match at Payback. It remains to be seen if their confrontation at Payback would mark the end of their rivalry.

As for the woman of the hour, Tiffany Stratton, she successfully defended her title against Thea Hail at The Great American Bash. At the rate she is headed, a call-up to the main roster is guaranteed. It will be interesting to see if she crosses paths with Lynch going forward, given that she recently made the bold claim that she was better than Lynch.

Tiffany Stratton has been on a roll ever since she captured the NXT Women’s Title. During the recent edition of NXT, she went so far as to claim that she was better than the top stars of the women’s division.

Subsequently, she asserted that she is a better NXT Champion than Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Asuka. When it came to Becky Lynch, Stratton treated her like she was irrelevant. As mentioned, this is due to the fact that Lynch has never won the NXT gold.

In response, Lynch tweeted that she is not an NXT Women’s Champion “yet”, hinting at a potential match with Stratton. We will have to wait and see how this story develops.
