The Undertaker officially retired from his full-time WWE career in the year 2020. And even though it may be rare, he hasn’t completely disappeared from in-ring action. These bits of action from Mark Calaway work like magic for his fans. However, there are still people in the audience who wish to see “The Dead Man” rise one last time to have his final match in the squared circle. We may have good news for you if you wish the same.

The Undertaker could potentially come back for a final match

In a recent episode of his podcast, wrestling referee Mike Chioda came up with exciting news for Taker fans. According to him, fans who were disappointed in The Undertaker’s final run may get another shot to refresh their memory.

Chioda revealed on Monday Mailbag that Mark Calaway appears to be in great shape after a few successful surgeries. The referee believes that The Undertaker can appear in the promotion for “one more match” because of his improved health condition.

This means that there is still a shot at a possible final match for The Undertaker. Although fans are bound to have different ideas about who the WWE legend should wrestle against for his final match, there is a dream match that Calaway never had the opportunity to seize.

Could The Undertaker’s lost ‘dream match’ be his final match altogether?

After serving wrestling fans for various decades, it’s about time that “The Taker of Souls” takes a rest from in-ring action. In such a scenario, the viewers would love to see him perform through an entire match one last time. Considering the insider reports that his body is clear to wrestle gives us hope that perhaps The Undertaker would be able to wrestle a dream match that was long lost.

The match in question would take place against Drew McIntyre. In 2019, the two wrestlers faced each other when “The Scottish Psychopath” faced a crushing defeat at the hands of the legend. After making his way among the top stars of the roster, McIntyre swore that if he faced “The Dead Man” again, the result would be the opposite.

WWE was hence planning a match between the two at WrestleMania 26. However, things didn’t go their way and the odd rivalry had to be dropped because the promotion took an alternate route, pairing The Undertaker against Shawn Michaels to end the latter’s streak.
