At 51, Dwayne Johnson possesses a robust figure that serves as an inspiration for many aspiring bodybuilders. Johnson owes this to a strict diet and training routine, which he has been following for a long time. Quite naturally, The Rock has tried and tested various supplements to aid his training sessions.

A few weeks ago, The Great One opened up about the same and spoke about the pre-workout powders. The interaction was a part of an interview conducted by Jeff Conway for Forbes.

Johnson, a budding entrepreneur, owns shares in multiple companies, which is the source behind his $800 million net worth. One among his companies, ZOA- an energy drinks brand co-owned by Dany Garcia, Dwayne Johnson, Dave Rienzi, and John Shulman- recently launched a new product- ZOA+ Powder. Johnson was interviewed following the launch.

ZOA+ Powder is marketed as “five-in-one advanced pre workout supplement”. Speaking about the need for this product, The Great One said that existing products in the market often didn’t meet the standards he was looking for. He also said that he and his partners, Rienzi and his wife Garcia, have used pre-workout powers for years.

Talking to Forbes he explained that having his own supplement brand allowed him to “control the formulation” and use only “superior ingredients.” He said, “Being three people who have used powdered pre-workouts for years from various companies – some great, some not so great.”

Also, it was a great opportunity for us to look at everything that’s on the market and see if there is a way that we could tweak and change the paradigm a little bit and create something that isn’t out there on the market,” The Brahma Bull said. The product is available for ordering.

Currently, ZOA+ Powder is available in three different flavors- Fruit Punch, Cherry Limeade, and Wild Berry. Each 13 oz container is priced at $49.99.
