Logan Paul returned last week on SmackDown. Upon his return, he was quick to straight-up challenge Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship. The two superstars will battle at Crown Jewel for the title.
Well, we know who is going to be his upcoming opponent at Crown Jewel, but the 10/28 edition of SmackDown teased its audience a little more by hinting at who his next opponent might be.
Who might be Logan Paul’s next opponent after Crown Jewel?

In a backstage segment, Cathy Kelley caught up with ‘The Social Media Megastar ‘ for a brief interview. He answered a couple of questions before snubbing her and walking away. A few steps ahead stood Kevin Owens, leaning against the wall. Interestingly, Owens was wearing Mysterio’s t-shirt.
Paul had recently attacked the WWE Hall of Famer backstage during The Street Profits vs. LWO match. As Paul and Owens crossed paths, the two superstars eyed each other with a stare that could a burn hole through the other’s head. This could mean that Owens might be Paul’s next rival after he is done with Mysterio.
This backstage segment took place just a while after ‘The Social Media Megastar’ brutally attacked Mysterio in another backstage segment.
Paul sucker-punched Rey Mysterio
Earlier today, LWO’s Carlito and Santos Escobar faced Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits. Mysterio was watching the match backstage on TV, and just then Paul jumped him. He sucker-punched the WWE Hall of Famer, sending him crashing to the ground.

On the Oct. 20 episode of the blue brand, ‘The Social Media Megastar’ made his intentions very clear. He wants to take off the United States Championship that currently sits on Mysterio’s shoulders. The last time he faced the WWE Hall of Famer was WrestleMania 38.
It was a tag team match where he teamed up with The Miz against the father-son duo of Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. It was Paul’s first-ever match, and a lot has changed since then. This time he will take on Mysterio in a singles match.
