WWE sometimes puts its entire faith and the future of the company on the shoulders of certain superstars it sees immense promise in. That is exactly what it has been doing with ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns for the past 3 years. And while the current storyline of ‘The Bloodline’ has no doubt been quite intriguing but certain superstars would beg to differ.

One of these individuals is Sheamus, who openly voiced his grievances about ‘The Bloodline’ segment taking more time at Madison Square Garden on 7th July. But this week on SmackDown he was promised a match against an opponent he has never faced.

Many wrestlers enter the WWE with dreams of making it as big as Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, or Steve Austin. But very few reach that precious goal. The reason is that some of them lose momentum along the way which results in their exit from the WWE.

But one wrestler cracked that code and he has completed 25 glorious years in the WWE. He will be having a special celebration in his hometown of Toronto, Canada next week on SmackDown. We are talking about none other than ‘The Rated-R Superstar’ Edge who has been enthralling fans in the WWE since 1998. And on SmackDown last night, Edge expressed his desire to have a match to make the celebration extra special.

He also went on to call Sheamus and ‘The Brawling Brutes’ to the ring where he praised him for invigorating him to return to the WWE post his injury. At the same time ‘The Celtic Warrior’ realized that in all his 15 years in the WWE, he never ever wrestled Edge. And so, Edge granted his wish by setting up a match between the two on SmackDown next week.

Both the wrestlers shook hands to seal the agreement but Sheamus while not let go of Edge and said, “Just hope you didn’t make a mistake”.
