He also lost against Roman Reigns at the grandest stage and wasn’t able to finish his story. However, amidst all the things in his WWE career, ‘The American Nightmare’ might be resuming an old hobby of his.
The 2023 men’s Royal Rumble winner may be headed to Hollywood. The news popped up recently and it might keep him out of WWE for a while.
Cody Rhodes is possibly going Hollywood

Recently Fightful Select shared a report that Rhodes might be resuming his acting career. He could he go to Hollywood or Vancouver where the filming is done nowadays. As per the report, while Rhodes was in Los Angeles for WrestleMania he made the most of the opportunity. He, “had some meetings regarding potential roles in film and television.”
Further, the report stated, “There was discussion of him being linked or particularly interested in the Johnny Cage role in an upcoming Mortal Kombat movie, which The Miz has also been angling for. There was also discussion regarding a connection to a potential upcoming Zelda film.”
Rhodes has good connections in the TV world and outside professional wrestling. Hence, he might’ve used these contacts to get a major role in Hollywood. Previously, the former TNT Champion has appeared on seven episodes of CW’s superhero series Arrow with Stephen Amell.

Moreover, he has also appeared in an episode of Warehouse 13, Go Big Show, Rhodes to the Top, and WAGS Atlanta. This Hollywood run can be a great thing for Rhodes as his merchandise was the highest seller on the WWE website. Nevertheless, it doesn’t seem the fans are happy with this development.
