When it comes to babyfaces, there is no one as big as Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare is not only the most over-star in the company but also the most loved. Since his return at WrestleMania 38, not only did he rejuvenate his career with incredible in-ring matches and storylines, but also with his good deeds. Whether he’s putting over an AEW star or praising a foe, he has enhanced his legacy year-round. Rhodes is one of the nicest men in pro wrestling. His most recent gesture proves it.

Currently, the former AEW star is in a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura, who wants to end his story. Rhodes, on the other hand, wants to end it at WrestleMania.

On November 20, 2023, a video took the pro wrestling community by storm. Victor Taylor Perry of The Wrestling Club posted it. The video was of a little boy asking people to donate so that their wrestling club could go to WrestleMania. There was a fundraiser put up on Double Good to help the group out. This noble cause to get a young generation to see their favorite stars caught the eye of Rhodes.

Taking to social media, Rhodes posted, “I’ve got your tickets and hotels. You’re going to Wrestlemania 40!” This not only made the club members happy and excited but also won the hearts of the WWE Universe. Rhodes is known to be a giver, but this exceeded expectations.

This would not be the first time Perry caught the eyes of WWE stars. The sixth-grade teacher at KIPP AMP Middle School in Brooklyn went viral in February of 2023, which was a year after he formed the group. WWE’s Big E, Shelton Benjamin, Alexander, and Titus O’Neil visited The Wrestling Club on Feb. 13. This was for Black History Month. Now, in 2024, Rhodes has acknowledged his work as well.

How Rhodes could be looking at a massive push in 2024

With Rhodes looking to complete his story and feud against Roman Reigns, 2024’s WrestleMania could be where it all goes down. The story has been a year in the making, and fans are more excited than ever.

Despite all the hurdles and pitfalls Rhodes has encountered in 2023, 2024 could be his year. While Dwayne Johnson makes headline for challenging Reigns for the Head of the Table, fans know it will be Rhodes who will dethrone him.
