No one has come this close to pushing Roman Reigns off of his pedestal in WWE than Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare is one of the hottest wrestlers who could possibly take the titles before Reigns’ title run comes to 1000 days. Not only is Reigns’ faction, The Bloodline, showing signs of breaking up, but Rhodes also has Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn‘s help if things get dire during the main event.

But while he could have all the external support, Rhodes still needs to have internal motivation. While he has his father’s dream in his head, Rhodes just revealed another source of his motivation, and this isn’t the first time he has mentioned it.
