This episode of WWE Monday Night RAW opened with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins addressing the challenge issued by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on SmackDown. After taking turns insulting Rock’s promo and social media video, they got to the meat of the topic: the Tag Team Challenge. Fans were excited to hear what The American Nightmare and the WWE World Heavyweight Champ had to say, and they didn’t disappoint.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins accept Dwayne Johnson’s offer

After briefly acknowledging and a few playful jabs at The Rock, referring to him as “Rock Diarrhea Dwayne,” Rhodes expressed respect for The Rock’s accomplishments. This led to Rhodes talking about The Rock’s proposal for a Tag Team match on Night #1 of WrestleMania XL. However, the match would also consist of Seth Rollins. This was when Rhodes introduced Rollins, who announced that he was medically cleared to wrestle again.

Rhodes and Rollins ended the promo on a very high note. The reigning World Heavyweight champion claimed that he would be on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. Rhodes joined in and said that he had Rollins’ back and he, too, would be on SmackDown. Looking at the camera, Cody Rhodes said that he would be standing in the ring across from Johnson and The Bloodline. Finally, he confirmed that the two were ready for Rock’s WrestleMania XL Night #1 challenge.

Fans are super excited to know that not only have Rhodes and Rollins accepted the challenge, but the duo will be on SmackDown. We are 33 days away from WrestleMania XL, and this helps build up the tension. Johnson was the first to announce that he would be in Dallas, where the upcoming episode of SmackDown will be shot. With Rhodes and Rollins both being there to face The Bloodline, fans are super excited for the showdown. This will be the first time all four men share the stage since the Kickoff event.

How Dwayne Johnson could help Cody Rhodes in the Tag Team match

There have been rumors circulating that Johnson might be pretending to be on Reigns’ side. There is a possibility that he is faking being a heel. The story, according to fans, claims that Johnson will turn on Reigns at Mania to ensure The Bloodline is laid to rest.

This could take place if Johnson wins on Night #1. According to the proposal, if The Rock and Reigns win, The Bloodline gets to be there during the WWE Universal title match.
