John Cena’s return at Money in the Bank was heavily speculated weeks before the event. Cena was in the same city due to his ongoing Hollywood project, Head of State. Moreover, the leader of the Cenation never misses the chance to surprise the fans. The fans have suggested that John Cena is one among the persons who are in the know after he hinted at a possible WrestleMania in London.

During the post-show media scrum, Cody Rhodes talked about the idea of seeing WrestleMania in London. According to him, even though there are a lot of good places for WrestleMania in terms of business, London would be “special”.

He said, “I mean John is dead on. London for WrestleMania would be amazing. It really, really, really would. It would be a very special thing. There’s a lot of good places, but that would be special. I don’t know if John knew something I didn’t know about. He’s the man, so John can say what he wants. Again though, he might know something we all don’t know so I hope that does happen for London. That would be very special and I’d be all about it.”

Interestingly, Money in the Bank in London recorded a capacity crowd of 18,885 fans in attendance. WWE’s perpetual success in The UK may very well see a WrestleMania being hosted in London soon.

WrestleMania 40 is already slated to take place in Philadelphia next year. However, WWE is yet to decide a location for WrestleMania 41. We will have to wait and see if Cena let the cat out of the bag early.

Nevertheless, while John Cena put Grayson Waller in his place, Cody Rhodes beat respect out of Dominik Mysterio.

Cody Rhodes finally teaches Dominik Mysterio a lesson about respect

Dominik Mysterio had been continually disrespectful toward Cody Rhodes in the lead-up to their match at Money in the Bank. Dom always found an opening to humiliate Rhodes by blindsiding him with cheap shots week after week.

Despite having Rhea Ripley at ringside, Dom Dom came up short at Money in the Bank. At one point during the match, Rhea distracted Rhodes, allowing Dom to set Rhodes up for 619. However, Rhodes managed to hit Dominik with the Alabama Slam, followed by the Cody Cutter and Cross Rhodes to pick up the win.
