Logan Paul entered Royal Rumble in his first defense of the coveted US Championship while CM Punk entered his first WrestleMania in 10 years. As the two superstars met at Performance Center, Orlando, they had a brief interaction with each other that is a complete 180-degree turn from 2020. While Punk trained with NXT Superstars, Logan Paul was training in the absence of his opponent, Kevin Owens, when the interaction happened.
Logan Paul appreciates CM Punk’s promo on RAW
WWE uploaded a mini Royal Rumble vlog on their YouTube channel on 27th January, highlighting CM Punk’s preparation journey toward his Royal Rumble appearance. Punk visited the performance center in Orlando, Florida, where he met the Maverick.

During their meet, Logan Paul appreciated Punk’s promo with Cody Rhodes and said, “You and Cody were great,” while Punk replied, “Oh, thank you, appreciate it.” CM Punk entered Royal Rumble at 27th and was the last person to be eliminated by the eventual winner Cody Rhodes. However, he created many moments during his stay, prompting people to believe that he may win his first-ever Royal Rumble and headline WrestleMania. Whereas Logan Paul had a singles match against Kevin Owens for the US Championship, the only singles match in the Rumble.
This is the first known interaction between the two superstars and Punk’s views on Logan Paul has changed. Interestingly, Punk had a different opinion of Paul in 2020, as revealed during an exclusive interview in 2020.

TMZ Sports uploaded a picture on their official YouTube channel on 26th January 2020 that features CM Punk. Logan Paul had earlier called out CM Punk for an MMA fight in 2020, after Paul’s match against KSI. When asked about his response to Logan Paul’s request, Punk declined the offer immediately.

CM Punk clarifies that Logan Paul isn’t good enough for him
Although Punk was aware that the match would offer big money, he said, “My definition of big money and everybody else’s definition is completely different.” Punk’s response reflects a lack of concern for the YouTube star who was just venturing into the combat sports industry. It also suggests that while the match payment might be substantial for many individuals, it held less significance for CM Punk at that time as he was employed by Fox.
A lot has changed for both superstars since then as they are both working for WWE. While Punk made his first wrestling appearance in the Royal Rumble since his return, Logan Paul fought his first match since winning the US title.
