CM Punk Posts Recent Pic of Sasha Banks in Hoodie & Shades Amidst Rumors of Her Royal Rumble 2024 Return

The latest gossip around town is where Sasha Banks will be heading after her NJPW contract expires. The star’s New Japan Pro Wrestling contract is set to expire in 2024. This has given rise to a lot of rumors about where the former WWE star will head to. While fans are still discussing this, the master of dropping hints, CM Punk, himself shared a picture of Banks and Bayley that might add fuel to the fire.

CM Punk “caught” Sasha Banks and Bayley

Punk shared a picture of Banks sitting right next to Bayley on his Instagram stories. Both could be seen wearing shades and hoodies as they try to conceal their identity. The Second City Saint wrote, “Just caught the two hooligans stealing catalytic converters in my neighborhood.”

While this might be Punk pulling some jabs at the two, fans should not forget that the former AEW star is a master at teasing returns. While WWE had stated in the past that they were not planning to get Punk back on the board, the star was still teasing his return. It could be possible that Punk is doing the same here.

According to reports, the talks between Sasha Banks and WWE had come to stand still. While the primary reason is unknown, the fact that Banks was asking for a huge sum could be the catalyst. It was stated that The Boss was asking for a pay that is at par with the Queen of WWE, Charlotte Flair. Currently, Flair is the highest-paid female superstar on the roster. While that might be the case, Bayley has been teasing Banks’ return for a long time.

It all started a few weeks ago when Bayley posted a cryptic message hinting at Banks’ possible WWE return. Along with that Damage CTRL’s Kairi Sane posted a throwback picture with Banks. In the picture, she could be seen standing with Banks and Bayley back from Sane’s NXT days. Apart from that, her recent appearance with Bayley at the TNA Hard to Kill pay-per-view has sparked some conversation.
