CM Punk has found himself again in the middle of another controversy. By now, the fans must be familiar with the pro wrestler’s deleted Instagram story, which was a direct shot at some of the top names in AEW, considering that it became one of the social media headlines last week.

His deleted Instagram story contained a shocking revelation. There is a fair chance that this revelation might have hurt the Hollywood actor and filmmaker, Sylvester Stallone, making him his least favorite wrestler.

CM Punk has not seen the Rocky movie

In his deleted Instagram story, The Best In The World mentioned that when his match was being set up with Jon Moxley, the latter put forward an idea that was related to the Rocky III movie. But since he has never watched the movie, he had no idea what Moxley was trying to say.

In his story, he had written, “I sat and listened to moxleys Rocky three idea. I explained how I’d never seen a Rocky movie.I and thought the idea sucked but if the boss wanted to do it whatever.” 

Stallone played the protagonist in the Rocky movie franchise which remains to this day an iconic character. Plus, he is also the creator of the Rocky movies series. This movie franchise is one of the famous franchises in Holywood. It was so famous that it used to be on the cable channels every other weekend.

So, naturally, if the 76-year-old has heard about Punk not watching it, then it may have bugged him a little, though we don’t know for sure how Stallone felt about it. But there were some people that surely felt the heat of Punk’s deleted Instagram story.

Who was the target of Punk’s message?

Punk had written the deleted Instagram story as a message for some of the top AEW names. His message was meant for Chris Jericho, Dave Meltzer, Tony Khan, and Moxley. In the story, he tried to expose how Tony Khan for forcing him to fight with an injured foot.

He also mentioned how Moxley refused to lose to him. Plus, he called the sports analyst and journalist “a liar” and called Y2J “a liar and a stooge” for trying to ruin his name. The message was in response to Meltzer stating on his message board that Punk created drama during his match buildup with the 3-time AEW Champion in August.
