CM Punk was left out of the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania due to his tricep injury at the Royal Rumble. While fans were disappointed, one WWE star has always supported the Chicago native. While missing tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW, they took to social media to show their support for Punk. This could be a great boost to the former AEW star, who claimed his mental health was also getting affected.
Bayley shows support for CM Punk while wearing Punk’s T-shirt
While the episode of WWE RAW went on, Bayley took to social media to post about missing the show. She said, “Wish I was there with dat shirt, but I’m here with dis shirt. 40 DAYZ.” She posted an image of herself on the Titantron with a customized Hawks t-shirt with her name on it. On the side, she posted what t-shirt she was wearing. It was a Punk t-shirt that showcased her support of the star.

The respect between Bayley and Punk goes both ways. Punk recently took to his Instagram story to post about Bayley. He said, “She wasn’t represented on the poster, I felt like she needed a presence there.”
This was regarding the WrestleMania XL post that did not feature Bayley despite earning her spot at WrestleMania XL. The WWE Universe corrected this mistake by creating a petition to get Bayley on the poster, which the WWE listened to.

Punk continued, “She won the Rumble, don’t forget it. Put some respect on her name.” Fans were excited to see Bayley break away from Damage CTRL and turn ace. Despite Bayley’s heel run being successful, WWE has been planting cracks in the group, with every member turning against their former leader. The feeling goes both ways with Bayley accessing her fangirl side when the Second City Saint returned to the promotion in November.
Bayley didn’t know about Punk’s WWE return and was excited upon viewing it
While talking to the New York Post, Bayley said, “I ran into Gorilla [position] to go say hi to him, and he was so happy.” This refers to when CM Punk returned at WWE Survivor Series WarGames after the final match ended. Despite enduring a problematic past with AEW due to some unsavory actions, The Second City Saint has imparted positive vibes to an experienced WWE locker room.
