As mentioned before, amidst the Punk drama, Jericho has been the recipient of some negativities on the social platform. A fan recently went to his Twitter account to address Y2J and his current feud with The Best In The World.
Hey Karsten. Go fuck your ass. https://t.co/5731MsMIlo

The fan named Karsten Hamrick stated that he acknowledges Jericho is an experienced pro wrestler. Also, he knows Y2J will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for sure. But referring to the Punk incident, the fan mentioned that his “desperation” and “jealousy” can become an enormous obstacle in his future Hall of Fame induction.
This irked the AEW wrestler, and he retorted to the fan’s tweet with harsh words. The two lines in his reply read, “Hey Karsten. Go f**k your a**.”
It looks like Punk taking a shot at Jericho is creating a huge drama on the internet.
Why is Jericho receiving negative remarks from the fans?
It all started last year when Punk and Jon Moxley‘s fight in an episode of AEW Dynamite in August became controversial for being a very short bout and lacking a build-up story. Dave Meltzer, via the message board, gave a statement on this.
He, in a way, blamed the 44-year-old star for the poor booking of the match. He expressed that The Best in The World created some trouble while the booking of the match was taking place.
Responding to Meltzer pointing fingers at him, Punk clapped back by calling the sports journalist and his alleged primary AEW source, Y2J, “a stooge and a liar.”

Punk debunked all of Meltzer’s claims. Plus, he also called out other AEW stars Moxley and Tony Khan for treating him unfairly last year. He mentioned how he was somewhat forced to fight, despite having an injured foot.
This rivalry is drawing a lot of heat from the fans and it seems it will continue to do so for a while as some of the top names in the industry are involved.
