There have been several ups and downs about The Hulkster’s biopic featuring Chris Hemsworth as Hulk Hogan. The 69-year-old legend is not just a WWE superstar, he is a larger-than-life character who ruled the pro wrestling world. Hence, a movie featuring all those stories has made everyone eager to see it come to life. However, the Thor actor recently gave an update on the Hogan movie project.

The project reportedly saw a pause after Hemsworth announced a break from acting a few months ago. Sadly, the 39-year-old star had an update that indicates we are not getting the film anytime soon.

Chris Hemsworth is hopeful about Hulk Hogan’s biopic!

The Australian actor is currently busy promoting his new Netflix film Extraction 2. However, as he is reportedly announced to play the role of ‘The Immortal One’, questions are raised about this biopic several times.

Recently, Hemsworth and Extraction 2 director Sam Hargrave sat for an interview with Chris Van Vliet. After talking about the newly released film, Vliet asked the Thor actor for an update on when we will see him as Hulk Hogan.

The 39-year-old Australian star replied, “Yeah, let’s hope. I don’t what’s happening at the moment but there’s a good story that I’d love to tell it. And Todd Phillips has been deep in the world of The Joker, but we’ve had conversations. Yeah, fingers crossed.”

Clearly, the film will take time as of now the director Todd Phillips is exclusively busy with Joker: Folie à Deux which will release next year in October. Hence, we can assume the Hogan biopic will possibly start filming post that and might release in 2025.

Nevertheless, Hogan would be excited for the filming to start. He has also talked about the movie several times and once even complimented Hemsworth’s physique.

The Australian actor is a healthy and physically jacked human being. He builds up muscles as the movie requires and always surprises his fanbase.

When the 4th installment of Thor aka Thor: Love and Thunder dropped in the theatres, Hogan complimented Hemsworth’s physique. He shared a picture of the actor from the 4th Thor movie with a powerful caption. Hogan wrote, “My brother has that Hogan Pump on Jack, looks like he could slam Andre brother HH #hogansbeachshop #chrishemsworth”
