Last week’s edition of SmackDown saw a surprise return from The Queen, Charlotte Flair. The 14-time Women’s World Champion made her return, interrupting Asuka’s new Championship presentation. Flair made her way into the ring and immediately challenged Asuka for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Subsequently, Asuka accepted the challenge and a scuffle ensued when The Empress of Tomorrow tried to blind Flair with the mist. While Charlotte was excited to be back, her detractors were upset that she was being handed another title match.

The former Raw Women’s Champion took to her social media to respond to her trolls. The fact that Flair was immediately pushed to the title picture upon her return does not come as a surprise. Whether you like her or not, you can’t deny that she is one of the most decorated talents in the women’s division.

The Queen was last seen competing in a very physical match against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39. The duo undeniably stole the show. After a see-saw battle, Rhea Ripley managed to dethrone Charlotte Flair, emerging as the new Raw Woman’s Champion. This led to Flair taking some time away from the ring.

However, her return to the spotlight did not sit well with the fans. Say what you will about Flair but she is far from being an undeserving contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Taking to Twitter, Charlotte Flair clapped back at her haters and demanded that they thank her for making her return.

She wrote- “why are you complaining, you should be thanking me

Charlotte’s savage response to her trolls substantiates that she is impervious to what her haters think about her. After all, she is destined to be a future Hall of Famer in WWE. At this juncture in her career, Flair is only two World Title reigns away from tying the record with her father, Ric Flair, and John Cena.

In addition, Charlotte Flair is the 16-time singles Champion in WWE. Her accolades include winning the Raw Women’s Championship six times, The SmackDown Women’s Championship seven times, The NXT Women’s Championship twice, and The Divas title once.

Charlotte skipping the line and injecting herself in the title picture also irked Bianca Belair.

Bianca Belair is not happy about Flair stealing her spot

Ahead of Charlotte Flair making her return, Adam Pearce requested Bianca Belair to not interrupt Asuka’s new title presentation. The fact that Bianca Belair was promised a rematch with Auska is what kept the EST from crashing Asuka’s party. However, Charlotte Flair’s unexpected return infuriated Bianca Belair.

Technically, Bianca Belair is entitled to a rematch with Asuka. The EST lost her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Asuka at Night of Champions. So, from a traditional viewpoint, Belair has the right to exercise her rematch clause. But because the WWE handed Charlotte the title shot, Belair’s rematch with Auska was now in limbo.

Taking to Twitter, an aggrieved Belair expressed her discontentment. She wrote- “Been processing what went down last night. So let me get this straight. I did exactly what was asked of me. I agreed to let Asuka have her moment as long as I got my REMATCH JUST for Charlotte to come out, demand and get handed a REMATCH?  Am I trippin or am I trippin?”
