Dwayne Johnson is in a league of his own right now. He is one of the biggest stars on the globe. Anything connected to him starts trending on the internet immediately. Hence, when standup comedian Trevor Noah announced that Johnson would appear as the first guest on his new Spotify podcast, fans went crazy. The Hollywood star spoke about his future prospects after the end of his storied chapter in WWE and Hollywood.

According to Johnson, right now these prospects are the most important to him.

Dwayne Johnson wants to “build more mountains spiritually”

Johnson is one of the most beloved superstars in the entertainment industry. Fans love him because of his extremely down-to-earth nature. So much so that many even want him to become the President of the United States Of America. Despite slight interest in the propositon, The Great One reneged on venturing forward into poltics due to a shift in his priorities.

And that is exactly the question Trevor Noah used to start his brand new podcast WHAT NOW? on Spotify. They talked about a variety of topics ranging from his healthy relationship with his ex-wife to a heartbreaking story of his father’s troubled childhood. Noah made sure that fans really got to see an unseen side of Johnson on this podcast.

Towards the end of the podcast, The Rock talked about how lucky he felt for all the success he attained. He explained that he now wants to use this success to help humanity which is of prime importance to him. He said, “I’m lucky to have climbed a mountain and breathing a certain air that I’m well aware that at times it’s a rare air. And the thing i wanna do now is not stay here in this place on this mountain but i wanna build more mountains. I wanna build more mountains professionally, more importantly than professionally, I wanna build more mountain spiritually, emotionally. Humanity is so important to me, and not only build more mountains but bring everyone with me so we can all build new mountain”.

He also talked about the toxicity that is so overwhelming in society right now. Johnson added, “There is so much toxicity, there is so much bulls**t, that everybody is dealing with, from the moment you wake up to, the moment you go to bed, you open your phone, your turn on the TV on, you listen to the radio, there is so much toxicity and noise, but man there is also so much good stuff out there too as well”.

And talking about negativity, Johnson had to endure some the last time he tried helping people.

Recently Johnson and Oprah Winfrey urged fans to donate to the ‘People’s Fund of Maui’. This charity was set up to financially help people who lost their homes in the Maui fires in August 2023.

Johnson and Winfrey donated $5 million each to this charity. But people were upset that Johnson and Oprah Winfrey were asking them to donate in spite of being so rich. After much criticism on social media, Johnson took to his Instagram to apologize for his mistake. He acknowledged that parting with money in these tough times would come as a diffuclt prospct for many.
