Pro wrestlers often transcend age with their indomitable spirit to keep the game on, no matter what. ECW legend Sabu is one such icon in the pro wrestling business. He immortalized himself in the annals of pro wrestling history through a spectacular in-ring career in ECW.
As a part of the sport, the suicidal, homicidal, and genocidal maniac put his body on the line several times throughout his entire career. The daredevil aura he used to bring perfectly justified his moniker. That said, on the verge of his 60s, his body isn’t supposed to take any more abuse. But again the spirit prevailed over the physical boundaries as the 58-year-old wants to have a final match with the ferocious Brock Lesnar.

The Beast incarnate is one of the most fierce opponents one can ever wish to encounter. Lesnar currently has his sly eyes fixed on Cody Rhodes. In his most recent match with Rhodes, The Beast made him pass out after a kimura lock, further underlining his fierce nature.
But it wasn’t enough to make a former Paul Heyman afraid. Rather, Lesnar’s recent fight possibly intrigued Sabu to meet him in the ring. Speaking during a Golden Ring Collectibles signing, the former ECW World Champion noted, ”I’d like to have a match with Brock Lesnar, though. If it’s going to be an actual final match and I’m not going to wrestle anymore, I’d like it to be against Brock Lesnar.”
”He’d be my perfect opponent because he does stuff I don’t do and I do stuff that he doesn’t do.” The death-defying superstar concluded by justifying his selection of Lesnar as the final opponent.
Winding down a wrestling career of 38 years, Sabu recently stepped into the AEW ring to interfere in the Chris Jericho vs Adam Cole match. Although It wasn’t considered a full-fledged return, it seems like a proper in-ring return is right around the corner.
Sabu teased his return with one special condition
In April, the wrestler came across a serious, unspecified medical emergency. However, he finally managed to get over that pretty quickly than expected.

Sabu didn’t refrain from teasing a massive in-ring return days after his recovery. The 58-year-old made it very clear that he was up for a return if the price was good.
Now, considering he already chose his opponent and another AEW appearance is reportedly not on the card, is a potential WWE return next for the ECW Original?
