As has often been the case over the past few years, The Beast had taken a short break from wrestling after his latest rivalry with Cody Rhodes. The feud between the two ended at SummerSlam with The American Nightmare winning in front of a crowd at Ford Field in Detroit.

Lesnar was scheduled to return to the Royal Rumble. But, following his name being linked to the ongoing Vince McMahon lawsuit, all plans were dropped. In fact, Lesnar was slowly being given the Benoit treatment and removed from all things WWE. But now it seems like the WWE is planning to bring him back. And here are the three reasons why it looks like it is happening.

3 reasons why the rumors of the return could be true

Lesnar spotted on RAW

The Beast, over the last few weeks, had been removed from practically everything: for example, the company had decided to remove him from the cover of the special edition of WWE 2K24 dedicated to the 40th anniversary of WrestleMania and chose not to include him as a playable character within it.

So when the WWE can go as far as removing him from the cover of a game, what are the odds they will keep a massive truck still stickered with Lesnar’s poster from a previous edition of WrestleMania? But that is exactly what happened recently. The latest edition of RAW featured the Rock beating down Cody Rhodes outside the arena. And it was during that beatdown that eagle-eyed fans spotted a truck in the background featuring the stickering of Lesnar’s previous WrestleMania poster. With the WWE being overly sensitive and stringent with their editing, it seems unlikely that they will forget to edit out the truck. Or even get the stickers removed.

Another fact to take into consideration is that the shot also featured a billboard with John Cena and Stone Cold Steve Austin’s faces on it. The two are also rumored to return to WrestleMania and help Cody Rhodes finish his story. So keeping the Beast in the shot can be a hint at his return as well.

The Rock’s recent social media post

The Rock recently posted stills from his last segment on RAW. And the WWE universe is aware of the fact that the WWE is infamous for controlling the social media appearances of their superstars. So guess what? The stills also contained the truck in the background.

While many may argue that Dwayne Johnson is also a board member so the WWE might not be able to control his socials, one cannot forget the Rock’s loyalty and love for the company. So it seems less likely that he would post a picture of a controversial figure without thinking of the repercussions on the company.

After his name was added to the controversy, WWE decided to cancel all plans involving him. From returning to the Royal Rumble to a match against Gunther at WrestleMania 40. Not only that, even 2K, the company that develops the Stamford-based company’s video games distanced itself. Canceling or limiting the presence of the Beast in its products. But after weeks and weeks of bad news, things changed in favor of the former world champion.

Also, how can we forget that Paul Heyman, the legendary manager is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame? And everyone knows that Brock Lesnar is to Paul Heyman, what the Undertaker was to Paul Bearer. While the Undertaker could not get the chance to induct Bearer into the Hall of Fame, WWE would not want to lose the ultimate chance to have Lesnar induct the Devil’s Advocate of the WWE in the Hall of Fame class of 2024.
