Brock Lesnar can also be flexible with preaching. Yes, you heard it right. The Beast Incarnate has always been his own boss throughout his monumental wrestling career. Fans widely know him as the live epitome of power, determination, and rigidity. So, it’s not very easy to imagine the 287 lb massive star being passive even in the face of some minute control or advice.

However, there are some exceptions to this norm. The 46-year-old might give off an officious vibe, but that never overshadowed the attentive student in him. The former WWE Universal champion is unbelievably mellow when it comes to abiding by the instructions of his mentors. His accomplishment in combat sports itself reflects the exhaustive training he availed.

Brock Lesnar did it all. From being billed as ‘The Next Big Thing’ to breaking The Undertaker’s legendary streak, the former UFC star’s legacy in the pro wrestling business is a well-documented fact. While we never get tired of heaping praise on the farm boy for whatever he achieved inside the squared circle, we often miss out on acknowledging the mentors who made him the ultimate beast of the company.

But Lesnar didn’t. In his autobiography, Death Clutch, he had a couple of nice words for all of his honorable coaches, that shattered his popular cocky persona.

In his book, The Beast Incarnate noted, ”I know my limitations. I know I’m not perfect. I know what I know, but more importantly, I know what I don’t know. When I don’t know something, I surround myself with people I can trust to teach me.”

Dismissing his ego-driven self, Lesnar continued, ”I never had that problem. Every coach I’ve ever had, from kindergarten to college to my current MMA coaching team, will agree: I am coachable.”

The star also believes that being egoistical about learning is synonymous with being one’s own worst enemy.

However, it seems like Brock’s former manager, Paul Heyman, had the opposite stance regarding him.

Paul Heyman believes no entity can change Brock Lesnar’s mind

The Wise Man who spent a long time in his career advocating for ‘The Beast Incarnate’ possesses many minute details regarding his client that the outer world might not be aware of. He recently spilled a secret about Lesnar having tremendous creative control in the Stamford-based company.

Heyman addressed Lesner’s extreme rigidity when it comes to the creative booking of his own matches. He stated that it was beyond anyone’s capacity to move him from his own decisions. He locked his thoughts in such a way that even any supernatural power will think twice before messing with those pre-decided choices.

Now, when Heyman’s comment on Lesnar might look contradictory to his obedience as a rookie, in reality, it’s just the two different sides of Lesnar that perfectly complement each other.

Speaking of Lesnar’s current WWE run, the company put a halt to his feud with Cody Rhodes. However, it will most likely resume before the upcoming SummerSlam event with lots of turns and twists.
