Brock Lesnar had numerous heated in-ring moments throughout his long storied WWE career, justifying his Beast Incarnate title in the truest sense. The most dominant wrestling icon will definitely go down in history as being the rare man who received defeats at the hands of only 11 men in singles. There are very few in the industry who could escape his storming attack in the squared circle.

Former Hall of Famer Road Dogg once reached very close to falling victim to Lesnar’s rage but could manage to avoid it by luck. Though Dogg was not his prey and the incident was unintentional, recalling the event still terrifies him to some extent.

After a lot of doubts from the company’s higher-ups, Lesnar reestablished his usual stronghold by destroying Omos at WrestleMania 39 last week. He also destroyed Rhodes during Raw after WrestleMania just the next day. While the Beast Incarnate is currently unstoppable, it’s always exciting to look back at some of his past iconic in-ring moments.

Road Dogg recalls an infamous WrestleMania moment involving Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon

WrestleMania 34 marked one of those memorable moments when Lesnar threw his WWE Universal Title toward Vince McMahon after going backstage, following a poorly booked main event title fight with Roman Reigns.

While backstage producer Brian ‘Road Dogg’ James is still unaware of the reason for Lesnar’s outburst that day, he could clearly recall a spine-chilling situation when he somehow managed to save himself from a sure shot attack by Lesnar on the biggest stage.

During the recent episode of the Oh You Didn’t Know podcast, the former Hall of Famer shed light on that horrible experience. While answering a fan’s question, Dogg noted, ‘don’t really know I honestly don’t. What I remembered of that is I almost got hit by the title like it showed he threw the title across me to Vince and like everybody kind of stood up like what the crap was that and so I don’t know I didn’t really know what went down then and wasn’t about to go after Brock to find out.

‘He was aiming for Vince and he’s a good aim. …… but one of those straps almost caught me in the mug. He could have hit all of us if he wanted to. So it was like I don’t know if it was work or because nobody said a word and nobody did anything,’ he added.

James also recalled a hot-headed Shane wanting to get his hands on Lesnar following that incident.

What is next for Brock Lesnar?

After turning heel on Cody Rhodes during Raw after Mania, Lesnar was apparently on the verge of facing another dominant force, Gunther in the upcoming SummerSlam. Though the speculation was very short-lived, it showed some potential.

However, currently, it doesn’t seem to be the case anymore as Dave Meltzer’s recent report suggested no plan for Gunther vs Lesnar for SummerSlam as of now. Rather, he noted Lesnar probably will have another opponent if he appears in the biggest summer party at all.
