Road Dogg is a WWE Hall of Famer who had a fantastic career graph in and out of the ring. Brian James was part of D-Generation X and held the tag team titles alongside Billy Gun on a number of occasions. After his retirement, he became a key part of Triple H’s backstage team. James has his own podcast and shares amazing stories of his own career, while he also speaks on the current business.

In a recent episode of a podcast, he opened up about who is the best sports entertainer. His response to the question was interesting.

Brian reveals why Muhammad Ali is the greatest of all time

James, in his podcast, Ask Dogg Anything, talked about various subjects. Road Dogg was questioned if he was the best sports entertainer. When his co-host questioned him “Are you a better sports entertainer than Muhammad Ali? He simply answered no and then explained his reason.

He stated, “He’s the greatest. He worked America till the time he was laid to rest. He was the greatest of all time and he had the Gift of Gab God Ali was awesome Ali’s the best character ever but it’s just him you know what I mean it’s uh no the answer is no um because I am not the greatest of all time ….”

He further continued , I don’t mind I like that I liked being honest about and, and you’ll see that I don’t know these people when you see me react immediately uh whether I believe I’m a better sports entertainer and sometimes I’m going to say that and people are going to get angry about it let’s see who is who’s next.”

While drawing the comparison between him and Ali, Brian was humble while admitting that there was no competition to Muhammad Ali. According to him, Ali was the greatest of all. Even though James came from a more sports entertainment background, a term popularized by pro wrestling especially WWE, he still believes Muhammad Ali is the greatest sports entertainer of all time.

WWE veteran admits to asking Tony Khan for a job. Unfortunately, there were no advances in his working with AEW.

Brian James currently works for WWE as the company’s Senior Vice President of Live Events. Road Dogg recalls asking AEW to take him to ‘prom’.

Speaking on the Oh…You Didn’t Know‘ podcast, James praised the AEW’s promotion for the upcoming All In event and the ticket sales they have done.
