Pro wrestling resembles life to a great extent, as both are extremely unpredictable and come up with unexpected tragic events from time to time. Such an inevitable life tragedy left the wrestling world dumbstruck when AEW superstar Brodie Lee untimely died back in 2020.
The late wrestler performed under the name of Luke Harper, in the Stamford-based company since 2012, until he joined AEW following a WWE release in 2019. One of the phenomenal moments of Lee’s storied career in WWE came that night when he, along with his tag team partner Eric Rowan, won the SmackDown tag team title at WrestleMania 34. The Bludgeon Brothers utterly surprised the massive crowd over there, dismantling the New Day and the Usos.
Lee’s wife, Amanda Huber, was one of those amazed fans who didn’t have any idea that her husband was going to win the match.

Brodie Lee’s wife recalls his special tag team title win at WrestleMania 34
Yesterday, 8th April 2023 marked the 5th year anniversary of the special day of Lee’s achievement which his fans and family have been heartily cherishing ever since. 5 years ago.
I’ll never forget this moment.
I didn’t know he was going to win.
He was “just happy to be a part of this match”
He got to work his 2 favorite teams with his brother @ErickRedBeard
He won & searched the crowd for us.

Fans left emotional revisiting the special day
Despite being an incomparable in-ring asset, Brodie Lee was more of an amazing human being, father, and husband, and that’s a good reason why he drew so much love and admiration from the fans. While the wrestling world still couldn’t get over the loss, it seems that fans feel content reliving his iconic moments again and again.
Always cherish the happy moments, even though he's gone, he'll never ever be forgotten 😊

They could perfectly recall his special WrestleMania win and believe that he was more than worthy of that success.
I was at this particular Mania, even met him and @ErickRedBeard at access. They were my pick to win the match and pulled for them 100% of the way.

Considering the late star’s family man persona, some of them believe his amazing family was his greatest victory in life beyond professional attainments.
Great match! I also loved seeing videos of Jon during house shows, you could tell how much he loved doing what he did. The little smiles, the waves, the reaction of fans cheering for him even as a heel. This moment though exemplified what meant the most, his family. ❤️
