The Big Show served a long time in WWE. Although he has left the company to join other promotions, he has always found his way back to WWE. The wrestler also made friends over at WWE, whom he also worked with for a long time. One such of his friends is Hulk Hogan. The two also worked together in WCW after Paul Wight joined the promotion two years after Hogan in 1995. Recently, Wight talked about this one time Hogan threatened him.
The former WWE wrestler had tried something out that he intended to use during his early days as a pro wrestler. However, he had to scrap the idea because of this one call from Hogan.

Paul Wight recently sat down in an interview. The former wrestler soon stumbled upon a topic that several of his fans were not educated about. He revealed that he once wanted to include ‘moonsaults’ in his in-ring performances. Despite his big frame, Wight admitted that he was fairly agile and used to do ‘dropkicks’ too.
However, after he performed the move at a live event, he shared “The moonsault thing got killed,” because of The Hulkster.
In the interview, he confessed that he performed a moonsault once which wasn’t on ‘live’ TV. And since there were no camera cellphones back then, there is no recorded footage of it. But somehow the news got to Hogan, and he left a message for Wight to call him back.
When the wrestling giant called him back, Hogan threatened to never work with him again if he repeated his moonsault inside the ring ever again. The reason The Hulkster gave was, “Giants don’t do moonsaults.”
Big Show made sure to never repeat the moonsault during his wrestling career again. And some of you would be shocked to know that this isn’t the first time that Hogan’s warning worked on one of his co-workers. The 69-year-old threatened another wrestler during his prime days, correcting his character on live TV.

Hollywood Hogan’s fans are aware that he didn’t serve in WWE alone. The former wrestler worked in WCW for a notable period of time. During his time there, he was involved in a promo with Lex Luger. While on live TV, when Luger and Hogan were trash-talking, standing close to each other, Luger accidentally broke his character.
Luger smiled at Hogan which angered The Hulkster as he said, “Take that smile off that face or I’ll knock it off.”

After Luger apologized backstage to an upset Hogan, he accepted it and asked him to never repeat it again. His advice to the Big Show perhaps ended up saving the giant from a career-threatening injury down the road.
