The most common criticism regarding WWE  is about underutilizing talents. The roster saw many potential names fade out due to the non-exposure. While the current Unified Women’s Tag Team Champion Shayna Baszler is currently on cloud nine since her phenomenal title win at Friday Night SmackDown with Ronda Rousey by her side, she hasn’t received any major push prior to this.

Many WWE enthusiasts believe that Shayna Baszler is an underrated female superstar who has not been offered enough challenges to prove her worth. In her recent appearance in the Busted Open podcast, host Dave LaGreca reflected on that issue and asked Baszler if this was the time for her to claim her flowers.

Dave LaGreca also addressed the common MMA background between Baszler, Brock Lesnar, and Ronda Rousey. But Shayna differed from the other two talents in terms of getting the spotlight in the company, something that didn’t sit well with Dave and most of her fans as well.

Without going into much deep on why she used to be snubbed for a long, the current one-half of the women’s tag team champion reflected her laser focus on the upcoming challenges in her company through her short and smart response.

The former MMA superstar noted, ”Well, I think there’s something to be said about. I guess the demands that can be made as a champion you know it’s hard to sit in the background no matter how well you’re going and say hey I wanna be outta here more, gimme challenges, I want challenges for this. And it makes sense. So I am in a much better position to be able to, I guess, demand to be featured.”

However, Shayna’s reign of terror won’t be an easy stay, as she will have to undergo a series of threats in order to retain the titles.

Raquel Rodriguez and the former SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan are just two of many viable contenders for Rousey and Baszler. The high-voltage bout between two tag teams is already scheduled for the upcoming Money In the Bank PLE and it would be quite a challenge for the current champions. After all, a shocking title change can be a smart way for WWE to stir the discussion.

There are other potential challengers too, including Damage CTRL Chelsea Green-Sonya Deville, and a few more who have a fair chance to dethrone the current reigning champions.
