John Cena and WWE are synonymous, and fans just adore him. As we saw during his appearance at Money in the Bank PLE in London where fans went berserk when Cena’s music played. He is one of the most decorated stars with 16 WWE World Championships to his name, a record that no WWE star has equalled let alone surpassed. But Kurt Angle feels another wrestling heavyweight might just steal Cena of his 16-time world champion record unless he too gets called by Hollywood.
Kurt Angle feels Roman Reigns will break Cena’s 16-time world champion record
Roman Reigns is currently ruling the WWE with his record 1000+ days as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. A feat no mortal has achieved in WWE’s modern history. He has also been a six-time world champion as of now and going by his track record, he will definitely be adding to that.

And that’s exactly what Kurt Angle also feels. On the latest episode of ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ Angle was praising John Cena for arguably having the best career in WWE history. He glorified John Cena for reaching the top of the wrestling food chain in just his first 3 years and then brought up the name of the man who could topple his accomplishments.
Angle said, “John Cena he was maybe 2 0r 3 years in the business by this time and here he is on the top. I mean this kid picked it up very quickly and he had the absolute, arguably the best career in WWE history. He did win 16 World Heavyweight Titles in the WWE specifically, no one’s ever done that.”
But when the host mentioned Roman Reigns, that alarmed Kurt Angle. He warned that Reigns can very easily break Cena’s 16-time world champion record unless he goes to Hollywood. In terms of titles, Randy Orton is the closest to atleast tying Cena’s WWE world title record, with The Viper holding 14 World Championships to his name.
But Angle thinks Reigns will beat Cena’s record, he said, “He’s gonna break the record if he doesn’t skip and go to Hollywood and become a movie star which I think he is going to be.”
But it seems like Angle’s predictions about Reigns joining Hollywood might just be right because that’s also what the Tribal Chief dreams of.
The Tribal Chief really wants to get into Hollywood
The last time Reigns was seen on the silver screen was in ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’. Fans just couldn’t get enough of The Head of The Table performing all action-packed moves alongside his cousin Dwayne Johnson.

The WWE Universe got even more hungry for action star Reigns and so did The Tribal Chief himself.
In an interview with Extra Butter in 2015, Reigns mentioned how one couldn’t be a wrestler his entire career. And that you got to have a game plan for after retirement, which he meant was Hollywood. And in an interview with ESPN’s The Michael Kay Show, he again mentioned his keen interest in joining Hollywood.
