Heyman recently had an interview with Tetragrammaton with Rick Rubin. During his interview, he revealed that the moment he saw Lesnar for the very first time; ‘The Conqueror’ mesmerized him. From the very first look, he knew the 45-year-old athlete checked all the boxes to become a pro wrestler.

Lesnar’s strength, agility, and mobility left him at a loss for words. He even compared him to a cartoon character from Looney Tunes because of his outstanding physique. He said, “This is the Bugs Bunny cartoon of ‘The Crusher’. It’s just, ‘Yup, what’s that? Oh, that’s a professional. I wouldn’t mess with him.”

“That’s it, that’s the look. And then the ferocity with which he wrestled, the strength that he displayed, and the speed of a man that size. Nothing about him was human. [Seen] Nothing or no one [like him before], he added.

He first saw Lesnar on television when he won the NCAA Division I Heavyweight Championship in 2000. During that time, he was still the owner of ECW. At that moment, he knew that The Beast was the absolute definition of a professional wrestler.

When Lesnar joined WWE, the company assigned him to the developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). That is where he met his future manager for the first time. It didn’t take long enough for him to make his way to the main roster. In 2002, he debuted in the main roster as ‘The Next Big Thing’, with his manager right by his side.

For most of his time in WWE, he had the New York-born star to guide him to the top of the ladder. And history clearly states that Heyman did the best job in making him one of the most influential stars in WWE. Under his manager’s guidance, he captured many championships in WWE.
