Becky Lynch’s Bitter Ex-Rival Breaks Character After the Former Becomes “The Grand Slam Man”

This Wednesday, Becky Lynch made history by winning the only title she never held in her illustrious 10-year career. She defeated Tiffany Stratton to win the NXT Women’s Championship, thus making her sixth Women’s Grand Slam in WWE. Upon her recent achievement, her bitter ex-rival Zoey Stark broke character to praise ‘The Grand Slam Man’.

With Women’s Raw, SmackDown, Tag team titles, and numerous other accolades under her belt, ‘Big Time Becks’ is a sure-shot Hall of Famer in WWE. With her latest grand achievement, she has cemented her pro wrestling legacy even more now.

Zoey Stark congratulates Becky Lynch on Twitter

Almost a day after Lynch captured the NXT Women’s Championship from Stratton on the September 12 edition of NXT, Stark went to her X (Twitter) account to congratulate the new champ. She wrote, “She really is “The Man” congratulations!”

By posting this comment on Twitter, she expressed she acknowledges Lynch’s greatness and is happy with her latest accomplishment. This message might come as a shock to many people, as Stark and Lynch have not been on good terms in the recent past.

The times when Stark cost Lynch her matches in WWE

At Night of Champions, the WWE Universe found out that Zoey Stark aligned herself with Trish Stratus. She even helped the Hall of Famer to get a victory over Lynch that day. She delivered her finisher, the Z-360, on Lynch outside the ring when the referee was looking away. This led to ‘The Man’ losing her match with Stratus.

This is just one of the instances when Stark has cost the new NXT Women’s Champion her matches in WWE. She is also part of the reason Lynch failed to capture the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase earlier this year in July. In addition, she has also stepped inside the ring with Lynch and inflicted pain on her.

On the August 28 episode of Raw, Stark had her first main event match on the main roster with Stratus by her side, going up against ‘The Man’ in a falls count anywhere match. In the ending segment of the match, she accidentally struck Stratus with a table. This led to Lynch gaining the opportunity to put her through another table and win the match.
