The WWE Universe recently saw Lynch and her husband, Seth Rollins, at the ESPY Awards. During the event, she had a brief interview with USA TODAY. During the interview, she revealed that after arriving in the US from London; she had to rush to ER to get a cyst removed surgically.
“When I landed from London, I had to go to the ER and had to get a cyst removed. Then had to get that redone on Friday, but was in the ring, fine, ready to go by Monday.” This is the reason, shortly before the show, WWE had to pull her from her advertised match on Raw.
But later, the medical team cleared her, and thus WWE allowed her to compete on the show. She ended up defeating her opponent for the night. It is SummerSlam season now and heading to ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ Lynch has her sight set on her arch-nemesis, Stratus.
