There’s no doubt that the WWE Backlash at Puerto Rico is currently an event filled with anticipation for all wrestling fans. And to enhance this excitement a little more, the May 5 episode of SmackDown showed some fascinating visuals. During the show, Bad Bunny again comes to rescue Rey Mysterio from Judgement Day. However, this time, he wasn’t alone.

A WWE SmackDown match that delighted fans was Mysterio and Zelina Vega winning against Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio. But soon after their win, their rivals ambushed them. And in order to save Mysterio and Vega, the American rapper surprisingly appeared like before. But this time, he was accompanied by LWO consisting of Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro, who ran down to the ring in one action of the rapper.

The thrilling episode of SmackDown did wonders before the most anticipated fight of Bad Bunny at Backlash. Seeing the Puerto Rican singer with a kendo stick and all electrified, the wrestling fans must be pumped up to witness the PLE unfold.

During the segment, there was a chance for fans to encounter a clash between Priest and Bunny before their main event at Backlash. However, as soon as Bad Bunny faced his Backlash rival in the ring, Dominik Mysterio charged in, allowing Priest to flee the scene.

Whatever the case, it wouldn’t be incorrect to say that Bunny made an enormous impact while saving the day for Rey Mysterio. And even at the closing moments, he was presented with an official LWO shirt. With this, one can speculate if his joining the LWO. However, nothing is official yet. That being said, we shouldn’t forget what Bunny vs Priest at Backlash can turn into. 

Bunny vs Priest at WWE Backlash might involve more participation

Being one of the prime targets of The Judgement Day since his WrestleMania involvement, an intense feud was on the cards for Bad Bunny. Adding to that, he will now face one stable member, taking things to a more extreme. 

It isn’t a secret that the Raw after WrestleMania 39 also saw the two rivals come at loggerheads. In a particularly heated moment, Damian Priest even choked-slammed the rapper through the announcer’s table.

Now, recalling the past makes the future WWE Backlash match more exciting, isn’t it? There is even a pretty high chance of The Judgement Day getting involved in the match to take their revenge. And if that happens, LWO might also be there to defend them. However, a few hours from now will disclose everything.
