With just two days to go, fans are all gung-ho about WWE’s first PLE, Fastlane under the TKO. This will be TKO Group Holdings’ first-ever PLE after their $21.4 billion merger of WWE and UFC. Fans are super excited to see what crazy antics await them at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. So let’s jump into 5 things we think might happen at Fastlane this Saturday.

The card is stacked with two title matches and legend John Cena making an appearance, so what else can the fans expect? Let’s have a look.

1. Jade Cargill might make her debut at Fastlane

It’s been almost a week since Jade Cargill signed with WWE. Yet there has been no indication of her either on SmackDown or RAW. This leaves just one possibility that WWE wants to give Cargill a thunderous debut at its PLE Fastlane. Cargill has already been targeted by Bayley who welcomed her into the WWE via a tweet. 

Cargill then spewed venom by making it clear that she had already been warned about her. Thus there is a high probability that Cargill might make an appearance during the WWE Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match to put Bayley in place. If this happens, it will be a great way to have her debut in WWE.

2. Kairi Sane can return to help Asuka win the WWE Women’s Championship

Kairi Sane was with the WWE from 2017 to 2021. Together with Asuka, she formed a successful tag team called The Kabuki Warriors. They even won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and held onto the title for quite some time. Then in December 2021, she left the WWE as her contract ended and joined World Wonder Ring Stardom.

But now, trusted insider source BWE has reported that Kairi Sane will be “showing up soon” in WWE. That “soon” can very well mean Fastlane and it would be the perfect timing as her assistance can help Asuka regain the title she lost at SummerSlam.

3. Roman Reigns finally appears to fix the issues with The Bloodline

Fans being parched for Roman Reigns would be an understatement. Because it’s been more than a month since Reigns was last seen in the WWE. In his absence, Jimmy Uso has been running amok and has taken up a new feud with John Cena and LA Knight on the family’s behalf. This must have irked Reigns who has definitely noticed that Jimmy Uso is trying to be the new Tribal Chief.

Hence we can expect an angry return from Reigns to put Jimmy Uso in place. That in addition to starting a rivalry with someone that might culminate into a main event title match either at Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. You are thinking right, we are talking about LA Knight…..Yeah!! Reigns’ return during the tag team match will be the perfect spark needed to ignite this feud that fans have been praying to the WWE Gods for ages.

4. Carlito might turn up as the third member of the LWO against Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits

The last time Carlito made a return to the WWE at Backlash, the crowd lost their collective minds! The pops that Carlito received that night give goosebumps even today when you watch that video. Such was the crazy energy that erupted from that arena the night Carlito appeared.

And he came in support of Rey Mysterio wearing an LWO shirt which left fans guessing. Is he the new member of the LWO? Well, that question might well be answered at Fastlane as Rey Mysterio-led LWO goes up against The Street Profits and Lashley. One thing is guaranteed for sure, if Carlito appears at Fastlane, that will definitely be Cool!

5. Former UFC Champions, Conor Mcgregor and Cain Velasquez might appear

Post the WWE and UFC $21.4 billion merger, fans have just been waiting for one thing, UFC fighters crossing over to the WWE and challenging the champions here. Imagine Conor Mcgregor challenging Roman Reigns for the title or Cain Velasquez coming back to WWE after his earlier stint.

They could very well be a part of the squared circle as President of the WWE Nick Khan has said that UFC fighters can have ‘extended’ careers in WWE after the recent merger. So we will only have to wait and see if TKO uses their first PLE to bring about this crossover.
