Matt Riddle can no longer be tagged as a WWE wrestler. He became the latest victim to WWE’s sudden roster cut agenda alongside a host of other talents. However, unlike some, Riddle ended it on a good note, thanking fans and friends for their unwavering support throughout. But it didn’t keep fans away from digging into the very obvious question: what is next for the former UFC star?

Well, it seems the 37-year-old won’t have to hold his horse longer to find his footing somewhere else as cousin Rob Feinstein sent him a quick offer following his WWE release.

Matt Riddle got new offers from former promoter of ROH

Rob Feinstein has been an infamous name associated with Ring of Honor. Despite founding the promotion, Riddle’s cousin found himself in deep water due to a number of controversies earlier on in ROH’s history. However, after he left ROH, he wound up regaining control of RF Video.

Now, after Riddle’s infamous WWE departure, the promoter sent him an offer for a few days. Although, Riddle’s reaction to him is still unknown, at least he’s not left without new opportunities at this testing time. Feinstein posted a couple of pictures of himself with Riddle, captioning it, “Just reached out to Matt about some dates.”

 

 

It’s still not known what exactly Feinstein meant, or whether Riddle responded positively to his offer. However, besides earning the tag of a prized WWE veteran, Riddle scored a considerable amount of success inside the Octagon. Relating to that history, the speculation of Riddle being back in UFC also has been rife up until President Dana White brutally dismissed it.

Riddle has a prolonged history of addiction to the point of WWE writing him off the TV after two failed drug tests. Although after completing his rehabilitation tenure, the star looked quite poised, UFC’s higher-ups still hold on to his old behavioral patterns.

After WWE’s firing came to light, the UFC president recalled a truth about the former talent. Referring to his statement about smoking weed for controlling his urge to beat his offspring, White termed him a moron.

It’s nothing but a clear red signal to Matt Riddle’s potential second UFC run. Now, only time will unfold what will be Riddle’s faith in terms of career and also whether his problematic behavior is a barrier in his path or not.
