Another WWE Star Gives His Stance on Seeing CM Punk Back in the Company Amid Survivor Series Rumor

Wrestling fans have been patiently waiting for CM Punk‘s WWE return ever since he got fired from AEW. And now, things have taken another interesting turn as a top WWE star revealed his verdict on the rumors and speculations in a subtle manner.

This happened in a recent podcast episode on Battleground Podcast when Johnny Gargano arrived on the scene. Although the former DIY member didn’t mention Punk by his name, his words were enough to suggest what he thinks of the situation.

Top WWE star is ready to welcome CM Punk

The rumors regarding CM Punk’s return to WWE are getting louder as Survivor Series gets closer. The reason lies in the belief that ‘The Best in the World’ could show up at Survivor Series ’23. After an official tease from WWE, Gargano also hinted at the same.

Gargano spoke about how Logan Paul winning and promoting his United States Championship everywhere was proving good for the promotion. Then, without mentioning the former AEW star’s name, Gargano told the world what he would think about Punk rejoining WWE.

Gargano said, “At the end of the day, whatever is going to get more eyes on WWE television, that’s the best move possible. Whoever that may be, whoever they bring in, whatever eyes they bring in. I’m all for it.”

According to the top star, if WWE decides to finally bring CM Punk back, it would be a win for the promotion and all its talents.

It looks like the 36-year-old main roster star might not be too far away from the rumor as things are finally coming together. A recent tweet from a fan revealed how Punk might actually be confirmed for Survivor Series this year.

Amidst the ongoing rumors of his return, a fan tweeted a screenshot from a casual Google search. However, it held a special message for wrestling fans wishing for Punk’s WWE return. In the screenshot, we could see the ex-UFC fighter appearing in the search result after a fan searched for “Survivor Series Date“.

This seemingly confirmed that CM Punk has a high chance of appearing at the event if he is connected to the upcoming PLE in such a solid way. Even if that weren’t the case, it seems that fans want it enough that it seems to be registering on Google’s radar.
