The Immortal Hulk Hogan is a legend in the pro-wrestling business who revolutionized WWE during the ’80s and WCW in the ’90s. The man headlined eight WrestleManias and is considered by many as a front-runner for his inclusion in the Mount Rushmore of Wrestling. However, despite his insurmountable legacy, he has one flaw that fans heavily criticize him for.
Hulk Hogan talked about his professional and personal life on a podcast when he uttered a controversial statement. However, this time it was related to his son, Nick.

A larger-than-life figure, Hulk Hogan appeared as the guest on the popular podcast of Chris Van Vliet on YouTube. In the episode uploaded on 5th October, he shared a story about his son Nicholas Anthony Bollea aka Nick Hogan. As per Hogan, there were talks to involve Nick in WrestleMania 39.
However, respected journalist Sean Ross of Fightful Select confirmed from higher authorities at WWE that there were no such talks. He posted on X on October 5th a picture of Hulk Hogan with his son, Nick. The caption for the tweet read, “Shocking, I know — A WWE higher-up says there was not a plan for Nick Hogan to do anything at WrestleMania, contrary to Hogan’s claims.”

It was a direct response to Hogan’s statement about Nick Hogan’s involvement at WrestleMania. Hogan said to Chris Van Vilet, “He [Shane McMahon] goes, ‘Hey, old timer you got one left in you I went okay ‘what are you thinking?’ He goes well I didn’t know if you had one left in you or maybe a surrogate such as Nick my son, so we started talking.”
Well, Hogan did not necessarily lie, but it seems his version of the story did not materialize at the corporate level. His son Nick did learn to wrestle at Raki’s school for a couple of years with Rusev. But Shane wanted Hogan to wrestle as well if Hogan’s body allowed it.

Hulk Hogan’s body does not allow him to move freely
Hogan had a conversation with Shane McMahon, who at the time of WrestleMania 39, was not working with WWE. Given Hogan’s history of stating diluted versions of stories, it’s hard to confirm the story.
Further in the interview, revealed that he could barely move in the ring, let alone wrestle. Hogan cited that he has multiple physical fitness issues because of which he can’t run to the ring or take bumps. In fact, he mentioned that the only possibility of getting physical inside the ring was if his opponent came up to him to get a mild beatdown.
