Holding a top spot in WWE for long is very difficult at the present time, as they have many options available in the roster. But this is pretty hard to believe that the 14-time world champion Charlotte Flair also had to vacate her top spot to make a place for someone else.

Things haven’t been pretty well for The Queen since her WrestleMania loss to Rhea Ripley last month. Despite putting on an impressive performance, Flair failed to retain her SmackDown Women’s Championship title. Since then, she has been on a hiatus to regain her strength to bounce back. But she suffered another setback according to the latest reports.

It seems like the 37-year-old will need more strength to handle another setback that recently came to the surface. A report says she’s no longer listed as the top babyface on the SmackDown roster.

PW Insider recently leaked a WWE ‘insider’ list composed of the women performers of the SmackDown brand. It listed them serially in ascending order according to their spot in the brand. Charlotte Flair’s name is written at the second spot under the current Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair on the list of top babyfaces on the blue brand.

With Bianca Belair moving to SmackDown, WWE seems to push her as the top babyface on the show, but still it comes as a surprise to see Flair down the pecking order. That being said, Charlotte’s biggest fan, her husband, Andrade El Idolo, isn’t sold on the news. He can’t believe that it’s even possible for his wife not to be the number 1 on SmackDown.

He clearly expressed his doubt on the news by posting a few pictures of his wife, with a caption, ‘Do you believe that?? and I give you the photos for you to choose !!!!’

Now, only time will say if the report makes sense or not. But that time is not far away too, as Flair is on the verge of making her return to the business.

The latest update on Charlotte Flair’s WWE return

Charlotte Flair missed a fair deal of time in 2022 due to her injury. Also, a grand marriage plan with AEW star Andrade El Idolo pushed her to take some extended time off.

She made her surprise return on December 30, knocking down Ronda Rousey for the WWE SmackDown Women’s championship that she ultimately lost to Ripley months later. Shortly after, the Queen again disappeared from the roster.

But it seems like her return is right around the corner as PWInsider reported that the former NXT Women’s Champion might return to action real soon, with Flair making to the list of an upcoming WWE event in White Plains, New York, in June.
