Getting his big break with Marvel’s Thor, Chris Hemsworth has slowly but surely climbed his way into the action movie business. When Hemsworth posted this news on his Instagram, Johnson took no time to congratulate him, writing “Congratulations brother” in the comments section followed by a series of emoticons. There are many comments below his comment, replying that they would love to see the two action stars cross paths in Extraction 3. It would surely be a hit if Netflix is able to get Johnson for the next movie.
This gesture means more, as Johnson is an actor whose net worth is $800 million, five times that of Hemsworth, who has a net worth of somewhere between $130- $150 million. Another layer to the story is that The Rock recently incurred a massive loss as his XFL ended its first season. But Johnson is hopeful and excited to make the next season a surefire success and is planning a long-term strategy with the league.

After it started trending, Forbes was the first big publication to issue an article about XFL’s first-season loss. Johnson replied to the tweet, saying in a half-comical tone that even he doesn’t know when to stop. Over the years, we have seen Johnson pass hurdle after hurdle but eventually stand atop the industry he sets out for. The same could be the case for football in the coming years.
Already, Johnson has taken measures to ensure that the next season is bigger and better than the first one. From installing the Player Health and Safety measures to former NFL players calling out Johnson on Twitter to join his league, the future looks hopeful for Johnson.
