Jey Uso was the latest one to join Roman Reigns’ hit list. On the June 16th episode of SmackDown, he took a firm stand in support of his own brother Jimmy, who already went against the Tribal Chief at Night of Champions. Jey finally broke faith with the top dog of the yard with a series of super kicks. The WWE Universe was excited to see the two brothers sticking together to challenge the Tribal Chief.

But behind the kayfabe, the twin brothers still acknowledge the Tribal Chief. Ahead of the fate-deciding match of the Bloodline, The Usos broke character to pay respect to Paul Heyman.

They sat down for an interview with BT Sport. The brothers made it crystal clear that they still hold Heyman in the highest regard. Jey described Heyman thus, ”He’s a mad scientist he cooks it, ‘he’s a cook, he cooks it all look that’s what everybody eating.”

He has his own layer to the bloodline like it wouldn’t be the bloodline without Paul Heyman, especially with the history he has with the family. Already everything just ties in like everything works and he has his own style, his own way of cutting a promo. To me, he’s the promo guy in the game,” Jimmy added.

The conversation then took an even more drastic turn when the brothers talked about Roman Reigns in a positive light.

What the Usos had to say about Roman Reigns

The Usos’ acknowledgment of the Tribal Chief in the interview was contrary to their remarks inside the ring. Roman Reigns recently faced repeated betrayal from his family members. While on the surface, it may seem like this undermined Reigns’ authority, The Usos deem it to be an opportunity for Reigns to move into his real self.

Fans are ready to witness what might be a nail-biting finish to their saga. The newfound assurance of The Usos’ real-life loyalty to the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion makes things even more interesting.
