After Staggering $50 Million Feat, Dwayne Johnson Breaks the Bank to Donate a Humongous 7-Figure Sum to Charity: ‘It’s the Largest Single Donation”

Dwayne Johnson has a big bank account, but his heart is way bigger. He recently donated a seven-figure amount to SAG-AFTRA to help the foundation ensure less privileged actors have food on their tables and a roof over their heads.

During a recent interview, SAG-AFTRA president Courtney B. Vance and executive director Cyd Wilson heaped praise on Johnson and expressed their gratitude to the Hollywood star who donated a huge amount to aid those in need.

During an interview with Variety, Wilson disclosed about Johnson’s donation, saying, “It’s the largest single donation that we’ve ever received from one individual at one time.” According to Vance, “Johnson’s seven-figure donation has the potential to aid thousands of actors” during these crucial times.

They praised ‘The Great One’ for stepping up for one of his kind and setting up an example for many others to do the same. Wilson revealed that when the foundation contacted Johnson, the wrestler-turned-actor was more than happy to help.

In addition, Johnson was so humble about it he preferred to keep his donation amount confidential. How humble and generous of him! After their contracts expired with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), the unions representing writers and actors went on strike.

They are battling for contracts that prevent an AI from taking their place at work. And also to grant them higher compensation when working on streaming shows. It appears as if Johnson burned a hole in his pocket after donating a 7-figure amount to charity. But with the pace he is minting money in Hollywood, this is no big deal for him.

Johnson earned a whopping $50 million salary for his latest Hollywood project

Johnson has broken all records in Hollywood. Amazon Prime Video will soon be home to an exclusive film produced by ‘Seven Bucks Productions’ and other production houses. Movie fanatics can expect a Christmas-themed action-comedy movie called Red One to hit release soon which will feature Johnson in the lead role.

According to the latest reports, Johnson will make $50 million dollars from the new movie. Even the highest-paid actor, Tom Cruise in Hollywood, charges $30 million for a single movie role, which is $20 million less than what ‘The People’s Champion’ will make from his upcoming Hollywood project.

It looks like, in no time, Johnson will reach the epitome of success in Hollywood, even surpassing the best of the bests.
