Wrestling has full of second generation superstars. From Randy Orton to the Usos, many of which who have cemented legacies greater than that of their parents. While few have a more impressive resume than the greatest luchador to step in the ring, the son of wrestling legend Rey Mysterio Jr, seems to have plans to do just that after signing a long term contract with the WWE.

Dominik Mysterio has all the makings of a generational talent. In the two years since his debut he’s become one of WWE’s biggest future stars. While the superstar is only in his mid-20s, ‘Dirty Dom’ is no stranger to the WWE. In fact, he made his debut a few years ago and has been involved in WWE storylines even as a child.

What does the future hold for Dominik Mysterio?

But it’s only in 2023 that The Judgment Day member has made a mark in the pro wrestling business. While he is relatively new to in-ring performances, several veterans have already hailed Dom Dom as the best heel going around.

Now, Rey Mysterio’s son has opened up about his future.

Calling himself a team player, Dominik Mysterio told The West Sport “I hope so. I’m a team player as far as the Judgment Day goes, so whatever is headed for us, I’m ready for it.” He later added that he had no complaints.

“I’m just blessed, I’m very blessed to be in this position I’m in, I’m having a lot of fun,” he said. Dirty Dom is currently visiting Australia with Mami, Rhea Ripley. The country will play host to WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 in February.
