Bad Bunny has made a name for himself among WWE fans through his wrestling acumen and dedication to learning the art. Following his fame in the pop-culture industry, he took the wrestling art by the hook and surprised many during his brief stint at various PLEs including Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, and more recently at Backlash in Puerto Rico.

He has taken his love for the business a step ahead by taking WWE to SNL with a unique promo. On coming Saturday, he will feature in the show at NBC as a rapper and a wrestler.

Bad Bunny to feature at SNL and face himself in the show

On October 18th, Saturday Night Live (SNL) at NBC posted a promo for their upcoming show for 21st October featuring Puerto Rico Rapper Bad Bunny. The caption for the tweet read, “Bad Bunny (and Benito) enter the ring this Saturday 🥊.”The promo was uploaded on their official account on X and featured a unique promo as Bad Bunny prepared himself to face himself. 

The promo featured two versions of Benito aka Bad Bunny. One version that represented the rapper was dressed up in a white T-shirt with full sleeves and a black hat. The other version that represented the wrestler from WWE was dressed up in black attire, a black denim jacket, and black sunglasses. He also carried a wrestling championship belt around his shoulder. Regardless, both versions had Bad Bunny’s charm.

The two versions exchanged heated words as they called names to each other. The wrestling persona called the rapper the ‘L’ in SNL (a taunt for Loser). The rapper called the other person an illiterate and an “a**hole.

The rapper and songwriter has used his charm from his songs to accumulate over $88 million worth and delivered many hit songs. His song titled Chambea also features the Nature Boy Ric Flair in his videos. It shows Bad Bunny’s interest in the pro wrestling business.

Bad Bunny has made a name for himself among the WWE fans with his charismatic and unbelievable performance as a celebrity wrestler. He debuted alongside Damian Priest in a tag-team match against The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37. Not only did he win the match but also performed a sunset flip powerbomb on Morrison.

Impressed by his wrestling acumen, WWE featured him at Royal Rumble 2023 where he shared a brief moment with the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. He later faced Damian Priest at Backlash 2023 which was held in Puerto Rico in a singles match. These moments have established him as one of the best celebrity WWE superstars.
