Seth Rollins is still the World Heavyweight Champion. He recently went up against Bron Breakker at NXT Gold Rush with his World Heavyweight title on the line. The match was made official after he accepted Breakker’s bold challenge last week.

Rollins was the last man standing as he came out of his battle as the victor. But soon after the match ended, fans bashed him online. In addition, the WWE Universe rallied to support his match opponent.

A day before the big title match at NXT Gold Rush, Finn Balor attacked ‘The Visionary’ and injured him pretty badly on Monday Night Raw. But the latter still decided to engage in his match regardless of his physical state. Thus, fans saw him with bandages wrapped around his ribs on the Tuesday show.

Though he suffered an injured rib, he didn’t let that affect his performance in his match with his opponent. The ending segment of the match saw Breakker go on the top rope, but as he made his way down, Rollins’ boot caught him in the face.

‘The Visionary’ then used not one but two curb stomps to pin his challenger. The WWE Universe was not that impressed with Rollins’ victory, as they believe that the match was way too predictable in the first place.

Fans are unhappy with Rollins vs Breakker match finish

The WWE Universe loves the element of surprise in the matches. However, the Rollins vs Breakker match was a highly predictable one. With the World heavyweight champ taking his feud with Balor to the Money in the Bank, there was no way WWE would have let the NXT star win the title at the NXT Gold Rush.
