Stone Cold Steve Austin was arguably the greatest WWE superstar during its Attitude Era. The Texas Rattlesnake had it all, exciting wrestling moves, a memorable entrance, and robust mic skills. That said, he certainly gained a lot of momentum from his legendary feud with The Rock. The duo were poster boys of that era and enhanced their careers by clashing with one another, which culminated in three WrestleMania matches.

Two decades later, Dwayne Johnson promised to deliver a clash equaling the magnitude of his bouts with Austin. No, he hasn’t announced his wrestling comeback and the bout won’t take place inside the squared circle either. The 51-year-old has vowed to go big during his encounter with Jason Momoa while announcing his return to the Fast and Furious film franchise.

Dwayne Johnson has finally announced his comeback to the Fast and Furious franchise on social media. The wrestler-turned-actor thanked his fans for their response to Fast X and praised Jason Momoa for his performance as Dante Reyes, the movie’s villain.

Reyes and Hobbs are destined to meet in the upcoming Fast film as it was the law enforcement agent who killed drug lord Hernan Reyes, Dante’s father. Hell-bent on avenging his loss, the junior Reyes will go all guns blazing during his clash with Hobbs.

Johnson, however, is ready for it. “It’s not even unfinished business between Dante and Hobbs, it’s business is about to pickup,” he said, adding, “So, if you thought that The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin headlining three WrestleManias, if you thought that was earth shattering, well, wait till you see what happens when Dante and Hobbs collide.”

If fans are aware of the three matches between the two legends, they would know what to expect. For the unversed, it’s going to be a mega clash. But that’ll have to wait till the next film is released.

Not just his warning to Momoa, Dwayne Johnson also officially announced the end of his longstanding feud with fellow Hollywood superstar Vin Diesel. While it was evident after the 51-year-old agreed to be a part of Fast X, there was no official word from the man himself. Well, now we have it.

“Despite us having our differences, me and Vin, we’ve been like brothers for years,” Johnson said. He also stated that the two would work together towards a common goal. “Last summer Vin and I put all the past behind us. We’ll lead with brotherhood and resolve – and always take care of the franchise, characters & FANS that we love,” Johnson added.

This is a massive U-turn from the WWE legend’s stance in 2021 when he accused Diesel of being manipulative. Meanwhile, fans won’t be complaining about the positive update from the superstar. WWE fans, however, would love to see The Rock break his wrestling hiatus and jostle. But for now, they’ll have to remain content with this announcement.
