The match at SummerSlam between Reigns and Jey was highly anticipated. After betraying Reigns for his brother Jimmy, fans expected Jey to dethrone Reigns as the Head of the Table. Despite giving it all, Jey could not secure the win as he got betrayed by his brother, Jimmy. This was a massive blow to Jey, with the fans also expressing their disappointment. However, it wasn’t over.

This last episode of SmackDown saw Reigns addressing the fans about his win. Jey came out to confront his cousin and brother, Jimmy. Once all was said and done, Reigns got a super kick, followed by Sikoa. For a moment, it looked like Jey was reconciling with Jimmy, but Jimmy also ate a super kick. Standing tall over the Bloodline, Jey looked at the camera and announced his departure from the Bloodline, SmackDown, and the WWE.

Solo Sikoa took to social media to drop a message for Jey with just four words “We don’t need you.” While the message is aimed toward Jey, many fans speculate it could be cryptic and aimed toward Reigns. Despite being the muscle of the Bloodline, Reigns has disrespected Sikoa on multiple occasions. Fans believe his betrayal is coming soon. Fans also expect a power struggle within the Bloodline to be the Head of the Table.

The twist and turns of the storyline have fans excited about what will happen next. No one knows when Jey may return or the next turning point for the stable. However, fans are excited to see Jimmy and Jey feud with one another at an upcoming PPV event.

The future consequence of Jey quitting the WWE

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com claimed that Jey quit on this SmackDown episode because the Bloodline will not appear in Toronto. The next episode of SmackDown will occur in Toronto, and Reigns is not slated for next week. He went on to claim that unless there were pre-recorded segments, there would not be any further storyline in the Bloodline. There have been rumors speculating around the fact that one WWE creative head wants Jimmy vs. Jey at WrestleMania 40.
