WWE kept Jade Cargill secured like a card they didn’t want to use early in the game. For the first time since her signing with the company, fans saw Cargill appear in the women’s Royal Rumble event. While fans would have wanted Cargill’s first appearance to result in a victory, the number 28 entrant was ultimately eliminated. But there was still hope regarding her future in the promotion.

With Elimination Chamber approaching, several reports spoke about how WWE could use Cargill’s potential to the fullest in the upcoming PLE. But when things turned around, a former AEW star was there to her rescue.

At first, several reports talked about WWE wanting to crown Jade Cargill as the winner of the women’s Elimination Chamber event this year. However, a few days later, it was revealed that WWE had scrapped these plans. This would mean that she either wouldn’t take part in the battle royale match determining the last female contender for the EC event or would lose the match.

Following the reports of the scrapped plan WWE had for Jade Cargill, a fan account took to ‘X’ and ranted about how TKO signed the female talent and is not utilizing her potential. “WWE signed Jade only to stick it to TK and AEW. You can tell WWE never actually had long-term plans for her,” wrote the account.

To this, Fuego Del Sol, a former AEW star, replied to the fan tweet. The indie wrestler said, “Breaking my own rule here as a warning. Don’t interact with Outrage accounts or engagement farming accounts like this. I’ve talked to Jade personally, she knows the huge spot WWE has for her and is working like hell behind the scenes to kill it when the opportunity comes.
