After Introducing Jey Uso to the RAW Roster, Cody Rhodes Took It Upon Himself to Put Over 37 YO Wrestler After the Show Went Off Air

Cody Rhodes is a man who does what his mind tells him to. Rhodes recently made fans cheer hard as he brought former SmackDown and Bloodline member, Jey Uso, back to WWE RAW. While people thought that Rhodes couldn’t top this cross-brand gesture, Rhodes proved them wrong once again. 

The American Nightmare won the respect of the entire WWE Universe when he pulled something heartwarming. Rhodes is the next big face of the company and he is proving that he is capable of filling that role with his actions during and after the shows.

Cody Rhodes gives an in-ring shout-out to Chad Gable

The world of pro wrestling is known for its cut-throat competition. It is rare to see wrestlers support each other without ulterior motives and alliances are never built to last. After RAW went off the air, Cody Rhodes walked in for his match against Judgment Day member, Dominik Mysterio. However, while Rhodes marched to the ring, the loser of the previous match was walking out. 

Chad Gable put up a great fight against the mighty Intercontinental Champion, Gunther. Despite his efforts, he failed to snatch the title from Gunther. The American Nightmare, however, asked Gable to come back inside the ring and put him over with the live crowd.

Rhodes grabbed Gable’s hand, raised it in the air, and asked the audience to cheer for him. 

Rhodes acknowledged the hard work and grappling skills of Gable. The WWE Universe was pleasantly surprised to see what unfolded before their eyes. This heartwarming gesture was later followed by an amazing victory over his rival, Dominik Mysterio.

Another crushing defeat for Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio has been on the back of Cody Rhodes ever since the Royal Rumble. The American Nightmare didn’t mind Mysterio much, till he caused trouble during his rivalry with Brock Lesnar. Rhodes locked his eyes on Mysterio ever since and defeated him at Money in The Bank PLE in July.

During the RAW dark match, Rhodes again came out on top. But The Judgment Day and Dirty Dom are just a detour in his quest for the WWE Championship.

Rhodes has already taken one shot at the reigning champion, Roman Reigns, but failed to win. Despite the loss, he is keen on getting his hands on the title and finishing his story. His actions certainly place him as a top WWE star and all he is missing now is the prestigious gold around his waist.
