Rousey had a quite triumphant WWE year before heading into a temporary hiatus back in 2019. After returning last year, Rousey hit a peak in her career with several commendable victories, namely the Women’s Royal Rumble title, a few SmackDown Women’s Titles, and last but not least, the Women’s Tag Team Championship title alongside Shayna Baszler.

However, her last in-ring appearance wasn’t up to the mark as she scored a shattering defeat at the hands of long-time friend Baszler, who shockingly turned on her. Ever since Rousey has been teasing her retirement as she feels without Baszler by her side, she has no reason to stay in the business.

Days after celebrating her daughter’s 3rd birthday, Rousey capitalized on the same old notion. She wrote in the caption of her latest family photo, “‘Sorry, I couldn’t hear you through my retirement.’ Bernie Lumen ❤️🔥”

But how do veterans see her potential absence in the business? Let’s hear a former WCW legend’s view on this.

Eric Bischoff seemingly won’t like to see Ronda Rousey back in the wrestling ring

Rousey had to bear with a lot of brickbats during her brief yet significant run with the Stamford-based company. While there were also a fair amount of fans who constantly had her back, she failed to rise to the good book of the majority due to her stagnant bookings and long time off.

WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff preferred to go with the majority and didn’t think Rousey should ever revert to the ring.

Bischoff believes, despite having great talent and even utilizing it to some extent, The Baddest Woman on The Planet has never had her heart in wrestling and this isn’t something she wanted to do in life.
